What a week!!!!!

The week that is - is final week of first year at Rotman!

This week was one of those in which you feel really proud and happy to be at Rotman.
So let's start!!
One week from now, I will be departing to Ghana to do consulting work on a Business Dev project with an NGO there. In fact, its a very interesting project! I have already started working with a great team, all its members are dedicated people as well as outstanding professionals. Not only that its nice collaborating with them, but am learning a lot from them already. The project is currently ongoing and well underway and everyone is so engaged to do their best.
Special thanks to the support of the career services students were able to overcome some of the challenges of the recruiting process and find myself an exciting job at a great place.
At hindsight, Q4 was faster compared to all the other quarters, guess its the sun and the weather thats making the difference. There is a better placement this summer w.r.t the last one and folks seem excited to take on further challenges. Apart from summer jobs, there are number of opportunities such as research projects, India tour, Latin america tour, summer courses and voluntary activities that are up for grabs.... This is another demonstration that the school administration is really keeping doors open for students in different avenues to provide differing experiences.
The admissions staff with the intense support of the class have organized events, that represent our community. I am sure all prospective students would feel that they are welcome here.
It was really nice to meet new people and share some of my first year experiences at Rotman.
